Design inspiration:We studied industrial riveted seams and jeweller’s milgrain. The aim: strength expressed as detail. By framing a calm, polished field with a disciplined rivet border, then forging it in 316L stainless steel, we created a tie clip that feels modern yet enduring—precise, purposeful and unmistakably Illicium.
Materials: Hand-crafted from premium 316L stainless steel, a particularly tough variant of the metal, with high tensile strength and able to withstand rusting and corrosion, thanks to the 2% molybdenum contents which provides greater resistance to acids and localised corrosion, making items crafted from it very durable and truly timeless.
