Design Story & Materials
Design inspiration: Legend credits St Patrick with the design: the cross of the new faith joined to the circle the old faith knew, so that neither tradition had to let go. The monks who carved the great stone crosses of Ireland added their discipline of the unbroken line — knotwork with no start and no finish, eternity made visible. This pendant gathers the whole inheritance and adds its oldest layer: the Chi-Rho at the centre, the monogram Roman Christians drew before the cross itself was worn, ringed by Alpha and Omega — the beginning and the end. Fifteen centuries of belief, braided into one piece of silver.
Materials: Hand-crafted from premium 316L stainless steel, this enhances the overall appearance of the piece by providing a brilliant, white surface that resembles white gold or platinum. This not only contributes to a more luxurious aesthetic but also minimizes tarnishing, as it is highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. The plating creates a protective barrier, shielding the silver from environmental factors that can cause it to darken over time.
